What the title says! ;)
I am currently working on an assessment so this will be a short description. Social mannerisms and (I can't think of the word-isms right now) are a little different here. Personally from my experience, I believe that Brazilians are similar to Brits in that there are a lot of pleases and thank yous and over-politeness, but then at the same time they will happily welcome a stranger they met an hour ago into their home for tea the next Sunday.

For women I think you have to be incredibly light-hearted in interactions with other women, some will love you, others not so much: nothing personal (unless they say so) but it's just down to preconceptions of other cultures and their own insecurities. I will probably loose all of my friends now. xD It's the brutal honesty ;)
If I think of anything else, I will of course add to this later on but right now I have an essay to write.
Tchau! ("ch-aow").
Ps. stay tuned for a couple of cool stories to come your way!!
